VanderMyde Design is a full service residential design company on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  We design new homes & additions, and hold an Architecture license in North Carolina & Virginia.

We recognize that most people have different needs when it comes to design: some have a firm idea of a style and floor plan, and only need a designer to draw it. Others are starting from scratch, and don't know where to begin. 

We tailor our services to each client, and ask as many questions as possible to make sure the eventual design will meet the goals and needs of our clients, plus maximize the potential of the building site.

We will consult with anyone interested in designing a home or an addition.  If you decide you would like us to design your project, we will work with you to determine a design budget and timeframe.

Once we start, we will show you floor plans and exterior renderings in complete three dimensional detail, and make changes while you watch or by email, so you will get to see exactly how your design will look from every angle before any construction begins.  Imagine saving the countless hours and expense of changing things once they are already built, but don't turn out quite like you had hoped...

We welcome inquires from other architects, designers, and contractors as well, who may find our three dimensional renderings of their existing house plans and elevations invaluable in communicating with clients.
